On Wednesday evening we were again after a long abstinence in the Diavolo . The kindness of the staff and the quality of the food were as hoped to remain very good. A table on the new terrace overlooking the Mönchelstraße was reserved for us. The appetizer - a carpaccio of the cattle and the.Mozzarella di Bufala Campana was very excellent and made joy at the main course. The Saltimbocca alla Romana and the Diavolo-Burger were just what we wanted and for dessert of course the Semifreddo. Just delicious. Thank you for the nice evening.
Unfortunately, it is also here, as with 90 percent of all restaurants. Strongly started and with magnification extremely neglected. Eternal waiting time, fish that was completely boiled, dry and the crust burned. Antipasti become less and less and are filled with iceberg salad. Filet is sold but you don't get a fillet. That's cheating on the customer. It was so delicious. Too bad that no constant quality is delivered. We're over here. I hope they're on their beginnings.
Mehrmals speiste ich im Diavolo zu Mittag. Das Restaurant ist klein aber gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, enthielt jedoch alles, was ich wünschte. Das Essen, eingeschlossen die Antipasti, ist frisch zubereitet, außerordentlich wohlschmeckend und gehaltvoll. Die Inhaber betreiben ihr Restaurant mit viel Herz und Liebe zum italienischen Essen. Bei einem Gotha-Besuch sollte man nur hier essen!
During our stay in Gotha we were eating here on two evenings. On both evenings we tasted very good. The dishes (Carpaccio, Vitello Tonnato, Pizza, Tagliolini with beef fillet) were all prepared with very good quality and appealing. The staff were friendly and turned to us. However, they are not quite stress-resistant. We like to come back.

A nice restaurant in good location. Those who want to experience a culinary delight are right here. No classic “only pizza Italian”. We had a 4-course menu with, among others, Sepia Pasta, Antipasti and Cattle End. An absolute dream. The service is also very nice. All in all highly recommended!

Ristorante italiano adattato al gusto tedesco. Per gli italiani come noi la pasta era stracotta. Conto troppo caro considerando ciò che abbiamo mangiato.
