Dickey's Barbecue Pit

A colleague and I went to this restaurant for lunch today on 10/11/23 at the Rockford, IL location. The empty parking lot should have been a warning sign for us not to dine here. We used to come here occasionally in the past and the food and service were excellent. However, the higher prices on the menu should have been another red flag (I understand inflation, but still). I paid $20 for the pulled pork plate, but the meat was cold and dry. My sides, mac n cheese and potato casserole, were also cold and I was hesitant to eat them. I received my order late and it was missing items. I have been trying to contact the restaurant for a refund but every time I call, I am told that the manager is not available. The last time I called, I was informed that there was no manager. I requested for the owner to call me back but have not received a response. It has been over a week and I still have not heard anything. Delivery service for lunch was disappointing.
