After a corona-related feeling of eternity, we finally managed to make a visit to Vjekoslav Pavić's star-created brasserie and let us be pampered professionally by his wife Lena and Zsolt Páll. When entering the restaurant, it smelled sorrowful to Saffron, who reappeared in greeting from the kitchen and formed a wonderful entry into a magnificent menu accompanied by Palatinate wines. We treated our mother to a Mother's Day feast. We all enjoyed the food and wine, the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere. You won't find any other restaurants in Pirmasens that can compare to this. The only room for improvement we could make out...is: (i) Serve real expresso (not Nespresso) and (ii) allow patrons to pay with credit card (not just German EC debit cards or cash).
we ate there at lunchtime while the prices are very expensive (starter for 10-25, net over 30 eating was excellent. classic Europe/French with modern twist. the paprikasuppe was amazing! the restaurant itself is very pleasant and designed like a chic (in a good. way) rustic wine cellar. overall a very good experience. highly recommended!
