We often go here as we live nearby. There is always a selection of the day, including soups, fish and seasonal dishes like asparagus and goose. The food is very tasty, always fresh and the salads in particular, are excellent. The restaurant is a converted barn with wooden beams and is decorated in a rustic style. The decor is welcoming and attractive with an open fire in winter. It is a wine restaurant with an extensive and excellent wine selection. The waiters are friendly and the service is good. We have never been disappointed nor had a bad meal here, so we very much recomend it.
Delicious, but expensive food and friendly service. Portions are medium. Allen tasted their food, from appetizer, pasta, meat and fish dishes to dessert. The exchange of supplements during the order was accepted without any problems. We were there on Sunday night and it was full. Individual orders went under and had to be reordered/remembered. The outside chairs are not too cozy.
In the short term, we decided to go for a New Year's menu and just have to tell public how delicious it was .... from the appetizer over the main course and the dessert...it was just delicious and nice that it still worked out!!! We are already looking forward to the wine house to visit the bat once again. Until then we wish Mr Schmidt and his team all the best!!!
Lovely place, really warm interior, nice service, good wines and very tasty food. I just wished they had more options in the menu, but being a relatively small place, I can understand the focus in a few good dishes, instead of many not-so-good ones. The pasta with mushrooms was excellent. Definitely coming back.

It was a great evening again. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a map where everyone finds something and a large wine card with affordable wines. The food is not cheap, but absolutely worth its price. Large products and portions are generous. Tip: Book Better table, as it is often booked.
Very good kitchen. Freshly prepared and lovingly served. The service is very attentive and accommodating. The food has its price, which is also due to quality. In addition, the waiters are not a problem. The wine selection is very good. A clear restaurant recommendation for the top palate.
We have been eating here since over 10 Years and we have always received super food and service. I take regularly customers here also. I would say this is the best Wine Restaurant in West Köln. The waiters can always reccomend good wines!!
We ate very tasty today after delivery. The Masala chicken was just delicious. Super fresh, the vegetables crisp. The delivery is perfect and punctual. Full recommendation also at Corona times.

Great ambience, courteous service and excellent food and natural wines. Prices are high, but also quality. If you want to spend a special evening, this is the right place.
