We celebrated our wedding in the castle restaurant. The preparatory discussions were always very pleasant and all of our wishes were implemented. If we had any questions or needed to make arrangements in advance, communication went smoothly. Everything was perfect on the wedding day! From the free wedding ceremony in the horse stable, to the food and drinks, to the general ambience of the location. All the staff is extremely friendly. Hat zum Glück wieder positive Zustimmung bei uns erhalten, nachdem ein Ruhezustand und dann Betreiberwechsel stattgefunden hatte. Denn es ist eine sehr schöne Anlaufstelle auf einer Radtour an der Weser entlang, wenn man nicht auf Pommes und Wust steht sondern feiner einkehren möchte. Price-performance naja. The salad was really delicious, but very small. No bread, buy extra. I don't think it's reasonable at prices. Cake was lush and delicious. You have oat milk coffee latte! Cosy restaurant in old ruins. Fine menu with classic and creative dishes. Maron soup and baked goat cheese were top. Even the grandpa got his "Jagdschnitzer" by delivering a mushroom sauce. Very friendly service, the waitress had an unforgettable dry humor. Toilets with forestfeeling and bird whip I have never seen!

Goaled Gastronomy, very attractive facilities, very nice staff, but also something for hikers and cyclists directly at the Weser .
We only traveled 5 times for this restaurant from Dortmund to Hehlen to eat there! Just brilliant!
