Some might describe the interior of this hotel restaurant as a little old fashioned but it was comfortable and the service friendly. What is truly outstanding though is the quality of the food. Prices might seem a little high but everything is included. We didn 't need...starters as we were brought a complimentary little appetiser some very tasty mushroom soup. There was also some very good bread and a tasty dip. Main courses are huge (by English standards) and include generous portions of very good vegetables (which sadly is rare in the UK where everything is extra). Bei mehr als 22 Grad draußen ist schon mal super...Ich hatte das 3-Gang Menü zum 50- jährigen der Krone.1. Melone-Schinken etwas anders interpretiert, 2. geschmorter Tafelspitz, 3. Panna Cotta & Sorbet, alles wirklich toll!Meine Frau ein vegetarisches 3-Gang Menü, ebenso begeistert, beides total genial und preislich durchaus angemessen, vom Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Dessert, alles weit mehr als nur gelungen!Nur zu empfehlen...

This is the third time eating at the hotel. The food is delicious, and the service is super. The menu offers a lot of good German/Alsacian food. The atmosphere is lovely with candles and flowers on our table. The breakfast is very good with the...table set with the meats and bread etc. when we arrived. You can order eggs, yogurt and most anything else. I did appreciate the large cup of coffee.

this place could be in every big city of the world and would be a hit. it serves traditional German dishes with a twist the meals are well seasoned and not hard. we liked it so much that we ate 3 courses: wild...mushroom terrine with black forests ham deer steak and fish amazing dessert best restaurant in Germany throughout our trip!

I stayed at this hotel and when I did a search, I was surprised to find the restaurant in the hotel was the highest rated in town. I had dinner there and it was awesome. It was there price fix menu and had a wonderful...shrimp appetizer and monk fish entrée. It was incredible. Well worth the stop if you are in the area.

I went here because it was highly recommended by locals.I had a mixed salad, steak and two glasses of wine and it was all very affordable and delicious! Great atmosphere as well.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort zum Essen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne!

Wonderful food, excellent service, beautiful dining room. In addition to entrees, several 3 course menus are available. Excellent for the price.
