We thought it would be just a typical small town restaurant, but boy were we surprised. We split a flammkuchen as an appertiser. No premade pastry here, clearly made from scratch, the thinnest crispest, tastyiest any of us ever had ! Our main courses were trout, mackerel, rump steak and Weiner schnitzel - all were outstanding ! The accompanying veggies and potatoes were all different for each main course, and a delicious complement to the favors of each main dish.After the dinner, I had to visit the kitchen to pay compliments to the team.
