We stayed there at 9th Wednesday evening at 7 pm (hatten also reserved in advance) and had read on the website that this day was Schnitzeltag. When asked, we were told that this was abolished. That was okay for us. Seven people wanted to order Schnitzel from the normal card. There were only four pieces. The food itself was still good. Then at the side table: bread is out. As dessert we had ordered ice cream, but had to wait for it for half an hour. Overall: the food was good, but we couldn't order everyone what he wanted. The waiting times were also very long.
"Die Laus" ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes Gasthaus in Bayreuth. Die Speisekarte bietet hauptsächlich fränkische Spezialitäten in verschiedenen Variationen. Es gibt auch Thementage an welchen andere Speisen gekocht werden. Der Koch versucht auch die fränkische Küche mit internationaler Küche zu verbinden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmt.
Sorry, trotz dieser ersten, ach so tollen Bewertung, der wiruns leider nicht anschließen können, muß man leider fest-halten, daß ein Essen serviert wurde, das man wohlwollendnur als unteren Durchschnitt bezeichnen kann und das ineiner Atmosphäre die dem Wartesaal eines Bahnhofs gleicht.Einhelliger Tenor einer größeren Gruppe.
really a nice restaurant with beautiful beer garden.The service was flotted and could convince.The crispy haxen was in order also the clubs were good.The beer sauce was tasteless and not well seasoned.The sauerkraut was much too sweet.We Franken would not like to be reminded of a sweetener when enjoying the sour wort. After such a long Corona forced break we could not expect to finally sit together again and drink a beer or two. I'm glad our choice on the Laus is a lot. Wonderful atmosphere, great handling with all the Corona rules etc and especially the food. Bomb! Mega delicious dishes at ground prices. Only to recommend.
We were really happy to find some vegan dishes in this traditional restaurant, and also change them regularly. The veggie pan with Veta, the chickpea pancake pan and the vegan medallions with lumps were so far very delicious. For the size of the portion, the price is absolutely appropriate.
Guest house with attractive rooms and beautiful beer garden. Krenfleisch zur Kerwa (Ochsenbrust) was good, the horseradish sauce was very spicy and garnished with freshly grated wreath. The two clichés were fine. Operation friendly and quick. The price ratio is good. Can be recommended.
