After having visited the nearby Fuggerei settlement, we opted for dinner at the newly opened (i.e. since June Die Tafeldecker in der Fuggerei" restaurant. This restaurant serves regional, Bavarian and Swabian tapas specialties, along with an 'a la carte' menu and extensive drinks...menu. A lovely dining experience, in an elegant setting, with delicious and hearty portions having ordered a traditional pork and potato salad for my dinner (i.e. schweinekrustenbraten mit kartoffel gurkensalat) I simply couldn't finish it, although I did my best! The food is really good. The atmosphere is great. The concept of the restaurant is unique. Even the service is okay...if only the staff was just more organized, this place would be perfect. Clearly someone spent a lot of time, effort and money on the...restaurant. On our visit, we spend over an hour waiting for our food. All the while watching as the door to the restaurant kept locking people out. The waitstaff had to open the door each time someone wanted to get in or out. our friends from augsburg wanted us to experience authentic German eating and this tapas-like menu of German specialties has made fun. we went there on Saturday with their 3 children. all selection options have been displayed in 3D models. So they would take their choice, write... sign what they wanted, and gave it the wait person to order. as Saturday they had a high time they had addressed, and it took more time than acceptable to get our food, especially with 3 young children. I don't know if this has influenced my partitur, but I still didn't think that we're eating very special or delicious. we ate in 2 other German restaurants in berlin and they were fantastic and much better than that...
This is a very nice and interesting restaurant, located in the Fuggerei (which is definitely worth a visit A nice selection of traditional as well as lightly modified bavarian/swabian dishes displayed in tapas style. It's a great way to try different dishes! Their homemade lemonades...are fantastic (available hot or cold). Interior is very beautiful, staff is friendly (could be improved though) and overall taste of food is great. In terms of prices I would consider this restaurant average. Would return and will recommend to friends.

A revelation! The chef takes a tapa approach to Bavarian food, and we loved it! You choose your own tapas and hand list to friendly staff. Best freshly made crisps ever! Wonderful flavours of sweet potato, knödel, and all sorts of other lovely bites, and...for these vegetarians plenty to choose from. Accompanied by fabulous half litres of beer, and a cheque that was about euros, after we knew we had ordered too much! The flavours were irresistible

very beautiful beer garden. tasty eating to good trips. burger and crust roast were again very good, also pulled pork with enkartoffel. also the cook can be addressed at any time, as it is clearly observed over the garden.
This Michelin restaurant is excellent. The best is the tapas type meal where you look at the samples and then write your selection on a card appetizer. main and desert. They are brought to the table in order
