Die Waldeslust - Réservation de table

Just come back from my first ever meal at Die Waldeslust. Absolutely delicious and still smacking my lips following a lovely meal. Firstly, good beer and wine selection. I ordered a "Russ'n"- Weissbier mixed with coca cola. Not to everybody's taste I grant you but a favourite of mine and very welcome after a day at work. Huge glass for the reasonable price of €3,95. I then had a tricky time choosing food from the menu-mainly as there were about 12 things I wanted to eat. I opted for the 2 minute steaks with fried potatoes in their skins and salad with a yoghurt dressing. Steaks were cooked to perfection- juicy and flavoursome. Huge portion but I polished off nearly all of it. Can't recommend...

We rode by several times and this time we decided to stop in. It was 6 pm and we were asked whether we had a reservation. Although there was not much happening. Anyway we said that we would eat and run. We just wanted to still our hunger. So we were sat at a table where the next guests would be coming at 7:30 pm....great. The asien looking waiter was super friendly. The room was comfy...nice atmosphere. I was hungering for a bavarian dish...schweinebraten (roast pork) and knödel (potatoe dumpling) but it was not being offered . Second dish...wiener schnitzel (vienna style breaded pork) with french fries (pommes frites) and cranberries. YES THEY CAN!! DELICIOUS!!! served fresh, hot french fri...

Went there with my wife for a late dinner. Food was great, service was fast and very attentive. While the restaurant was only half full , there was only one server doing an outstanding job, dealing with a lot of folks. One thing that jumped out was the large number of tables where two ladies where having a conversation over a beer. We must have counted 6 to 8 tables like that. Once I noticed that I realized how family like and comfy the whole design was. The food was also great, which is important given this is a restaurant .... That being said , I would love to go back for the food and the very friendly setting Strongly recommend !

Enjoyed talking with a young man that spoke extremely clear English. I hardly detected a German accent the first few times he spoke. Turns out he was an exchange student in South Carolina for 2 years and loved the sports he participated in. Very impressed with plate presentation. Food was good. My husband really enjoyed his. I just got a burger and fries, it's what sounded good. The fries were a bit undercooked and the burger had a bit too much sauce for my taste, but was good. Will be back before we leave for home. I have been here 3 times and the food was always great. I have always one of their special Bavarian dish, like their special Walu Burger which came in a very nice and cool presentation. Then I ordered the special dessert Kaiserschmarrn which takes up to 45 minutes to bits prepared; so order it immediately if you want it. It's big, so reserve some room if you want to have it, it's worth the wait.Also on busy days the service it's acceptably fast.

Nothing to rave about. Portion size was generous. Food was OK. Atmosphere that evening was ok. Not too crowded as we arrived early. Our reservation was messed up and despite an email confirmation, it could not be found. Neither could the requested corner table be found. They were available but we could not sit there. There you go. Overall OK.

We visited the Waldeslust in the eveining during a two day training course at our company site nearby. The place is busting with life, yet the service is still friendly and attentative. The food is very good value for money and It's probably the place to be in Unterhaching. We'll come again.

Great night with friends and Waldeslust family even that with males could only enter at 9:30pm before it was ladies night. Great music, bar, staff and atmosphere...not to forget all the ladies who enjoyed themselves. Look out for the 1st May party !!! Réservez une table maintenant

We didn't regret choosing this restaurant, close to our friends house. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and pretty quick even though the restaurant was really crowded. Nice atmosphere, Bavarian style.

Very good traditional food and friendly environment. We strongly recommend the special hand made dessert.
