I am a regular customer at Dijla and often go there for food. I've mentioned several times, including when ordering over the phone, that I prefer not to have a lot of oil in my meals. I choose Mediterranean cuisine because it isn't supposed to be oily. Last night, I ordered a couple of wraps and specifically requested that they not add too much oil. However, when I got home and started eating, I noticed the wraps were saturated with oil. Please communicate this request clearly to your cooks or whoever takes the orders, so this issue can be addressed.
I love this place. This is our favorite hookah spot in greater Atlanta. They’ve all the amazing flavors plus the food tastes amazing too! I usually order the Iraqi kabob platter which has hummus, salad, two lamb kabobs and rice; enough for two at times. The staff there is super friendly: Sarah, Zara and Zafar make sure you’re taken care of entirely and leave the place happy. No I’m not affiliated with the place, I just love how all the things there align perfectly.
Baba Ganoush and baklava THE best I’ve ever tried, not just in Atlanta. Love their salads and mendi chicken. Shawarma is not my fave on the menu but I usually get it for my guests and they love it. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the area. Thank you Uber Eats for introducing me to this great restaurant! And thank you to the restaurant for making my hard days that much more joyful.
The food was absolutely amazing! I really wish I had taken some pictures. Everyone loved their meals, and it’s impressive that our waitress managed to remember every order perfectly without writing anything down! You absolutely have to try the lemon mint drink; it’s incredibly refreshing from the very first sip!

The food was excellent and completely authentic. I tried the falafel plate and hummus, both of which were very delicious. The atmosphere is that of a hookah lounge, featuring dim lighting, hookahs, and comfortable lounge seating.
I've had good experiences here in the past, but today the food was overcooked and the meat appeared old. I live too far away to go back, so it just feels like a waste of money and time. Food: 2, Service: 2, Atmosphere: 3.
It's a laid-back neighborhood spot with great food and drinks. I think they offer hookah too, if that's your style. Make sure to try the lamb chops when you visit—they're seasoned to perfection!
