Dil Raj Indian Takeaway

Order at 6 pm via Just Eat. Expected delivery was 7 o'clock. Dil Raj added 15mins to the delivery time (fair enough). 7:15 come and go. Rank restaurant at 7:30 6 times before someone answered and was told abruptly, it's just round... the corner will be there soon. 8 a.m. and still nothing so tries to ring restaurant again to cancel order and go elsewhere. 10 times and no answer. The delivery finally shows itself at 8:10 and did not suffer any excuse or compensation, so turned him away, as had already ordered elsewhere. Summary: 2:10 hours for delivery. 55mins late. Couldn't get to restaurant and when rude and unapologetic. Will never order from there again. Instead of lime tree that was fast...

With the lockdown in place I ordered a takeaway for my birthday contract and it was certainly a good call. We all couldn't decide what we wanted, so we went for the set of food for 4 and it was a good call. We also ordered a chicken corma. All the food was on site. We were all clogged at night and we had four more meals for the next two days (you can not beat left over Curry....yum! . It's been a while since we ordered from Dilraj, it won't take long until we order again.

Ok, a lot of suburban English Indian food is just nuked frozen stuff, and this is NO different....but DAMN, the cucumber sauce was just yogurt that may have been left out all day and 2 soggy slices of cucumber? That's just bootleg. If you're starving,...don't eat here, just get a Tesco sandwich or some other form of local bland. This place is what depression and reheated **** is made of.

Had delivery on Friday night... Food was well packed and tasted... The first time and certainly not the last, thank you
