I miss The Deli!!! Compared to the Dilly Deli this place seems soulless and much less friendly. The hostess greeted us, asked how many and told us how long the wait would be. When that time passed we inquired about the wait and she said we had never given a name. She didn't ask and we were standing right in front of her so she knew we hadn't left. When we did get seated the waitress had to ask for our order repeatedly because it's SO loud. When my three year old got his juice in a big paper cup, he drank it in one drink (there wasn't much in it) then they wanted to charge us for another to refill it. I understand charging for juice refills but the initial serving should be more than one drin...

Food was very, very good. We had a group of 5 so we got to sample lots of stuff - banana foster French toast, breakfast burrito, chicken and waffles, grilled cheese and the tomato soup. It's all fantastic.
Our one complaint is the speed that the food comes out. Literally took us over 30 minutes to get food after we ordered. It was Sunday am and getting busy but not slammed. We also ordered a cinnamon roll to come out about 5 minutes after they brought out our food and it was more like 20 minutes. Seriously - was a long wait for the whole meal which unnecessary and kinda ruined the experience.
By the way, when they describe their cinnamon roll as "huge", they are not kidding!

This is now reopened as "Dilly Diner." The atmosphere is great. It is nice to see them making their fresher baked goods up front as you come in. We went for Saturday brunch. It was about a 20 minute wait, which is to be expected for brunch at a newly opened location. The waitress was very scattered and didn't know the menu or specials. However, the coffee was good and others helped the wait staff to make sure our needs were met in a timely manner. The food was very good. They had run out of gravy, but the server who brought the food made sure we got some as soon as a new batch was ready. I expect some of these issues will be worked out as time passes. Keep in mind, they are new.

First visit was amazing! Of course it was super packed and had to wait a long time but it was worth it. Had two eggs with bacon, potatoes and biscuit and gravy. Second visit was just mediocre. Sat at bar, mimosas was fine but a little too pricy for the quantity. Ordered the Meg and wasn't wowed by it like my first expierence. Bread was too hard to be eaten as a sandwich and my egg plus bacon was on the cold side so it didn't melt the cheese. Would recommend the two eggs though to anyone!
Great place to stop for a snack, dessert, or a light lunch. It is nice to sit outside, even on a hot day because they have fans going. My group experienced good service and our drinks are kept full. Everyone liked their dessert although the cake slices were big enough to have shared...
I really like this place, the food is pretty good. Each time I have gone I have been lucky and gotten the same server, she remembered us with is pretty cool. We usually have to wait around 20 minutes or so for two people on a Sunday morning. The croque Madame is my fav.
Was seated immediately. Drink menu had some interesting drinks, and the waiter was knowledgeable about the food and drinks and able to answer any questions we had. Service was fast, and the food was good. I regret not getting a piece of pie.
