This restaurant used to be very reputable. For years they were my go to for pizza. Ever since the pandemic hit and their business slowed, there quality hasn’t been the same. Multiple times I have ordered from here and multiple times I’ve been disappointed. I ordered a tomato pie and there was not even a spec of romano. The pepperoni pizza barely had any cheese either. The garlic knots were bland and didn’t even seemed like they were fully baked. It’s sad to watch a business go downhill. Especially a great one. I hope this is just a bluff or an off day.
This pizza was severely overcooked to the point of being burnt, and the second one was undercooked. I had to drive back to the restaurant to replace it. When I called and spoke to one of the owners, she claimed that the first pizza was just "well done" but it was clearly burnt with no cheese or sauce, just melted burnt cheese and oil on top. The second pizza was undercooked. I was very disappointed in the food and the owner's response was ridiculous. I will never order from this restaurant again.
This could possibly be the best establishment in Hellertown. They have been serving delicious food for the past 40 years. Not only is the food fantastic and reasonably priced, but the staff are also great. The people running the restaurant play a big role in its success. It is a family-owned business and there are never any bad attitudes. The owners and staff are always friendly, making you feel right at home. Dimaios offers the best ravioli I have ever tasted. The homemade pasta is cooked perfectly Al Dente, and the ravioli is generously sized with a delicious sauce that is so good you could drink it. The homemade bread is also a standout. The prices are very reasonable and I will definitely make the trip to dine here again. Service is excellent, and I enjoyed a lovely dinner.
