This place is so good that I’ve told my friends and family about it and I visited it twice in one week! XLB is large with lots of soup. Every bite is worth it. Pea shots are perfectly cooked and a great garlic flavor. Beef noodle soup has a light broth and the long noddles are cooked Chewy and soft. The meat is tender. Wood ear mushrooms were lightly seasoned and well balanced with the vinegar. I would definitely be going back. Open for takeout during covid19.
We LOVE this place. The dumplings are so good!!! You can see them making it fresh in the back. Our favorites include the pork xiao long bao dumplings, the chicken chow mein, honey walnut prawns, and piggy buns for dessert. Remember these portions are BIG, so make sure you have friends to share with! The soup is literally served with a ladle that how big the bowl is. This place is traditional in the service as in, they do kinda ignore you, so the experience takes a little bit of time and don't be afraid to wave them down. I would say it is an authentic dumpling house!
We had a wide selection of dishes and all were really delicious. The dumpling soup was to die 4. Handmade dumplings, as we made together with in the house fresh noodles. Especially good quality in what we all had as a family. It's like homemade kindness. It is a must try if you are in the area for Asian food. NOTE. There is a trick to shove the emptying with a spoon, while the upper part of the emptying 'chop sticks' picks up to not break the seal to let the soup escape. First time here and it was great! The wait was about 20-30 (sunday lunch). The XLB certainly did not disappoint. Personally I suggest getting the pork XLB is good enough unless you really wanna try the other one. The shrimp dumpling in spicy sauce was a pleasant surprise. Though the flavor wasn't as Sichuan spicy it was still very good. Definitely will come back.

Food is great! My favourite is garlic pork chop in sauce!! Knödel are freshly made delicious! Each product is good. The staff is friendly and helpful in the selection. Restaurant is clean, good atmosphere. It's a must! You'll be happy!
Great food, the dumplings and noodles are very authentic and taste fantastic. Some of the buns are shaped in interesting ways. There is a lot of parking and plenty of seating. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here.Food: 5/5
Beef noodle soup was fantastic! Different flavor than I'm used to in SGV. This was half of it pictured, as an order is about enough for two if also having appetizer. Wait was long for takeout, so definitely order ahead.
Usually a wait has to come at the weekends. Soup styles dumplings are excellent. Your Veggies dumplings are good, but low in taste. Noodle dishes were good and so were the flat (extra crispy) pot stickers.

This place is so good. It's where I take my wife to celebrate our anniversary, birthdays etc. It's just tasty, fresh and hot. Not complicated in any way, just great.
Top-notch Chinese staple food. Noodles are the Chewiest I had in Bay.
