Dropped in to Dine Thyme for a quick mocha but ended up talking to the owner for ages. He’s so knowledgeable about Edinburgh and best places to eat. Cafe is lovely with beautiful hanging baskets outside that are very well taken care of. Sat outside at a street table and noticed how busy it was with locals and deliveries so it’s very popular! Would definitely recommend and looking forward to dropping in again for a sandwich.
Im generally rather selective over the reviews i bother giving, but after popping by Dine Thyme, I had to. It would be 5 stars for the service alone, but add to that the food...well I couldn't of been happier. Its places like this that really show what large chain establishments are missing. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be stopping by. Five stars all the way!!!
A lovely independent cafe! Yummy, freshly prepared, good quality food. Great value, with friendly and professional service. Dine Thyme is also in a great spot just a few minutes’ walk from Waverley station, set back from the main road in an almost traffic free area. I enjoyed my breakfast outside and would definitely go back on my next trip to Edinburgh.
The coffee was good and the bacon and sausage roll was great. I typically don't eat breakfast, but this meal was very enjoyable. Additionally, I learned something new - the word "dreich" - I've been in Scotland for over a year and had never heard it before. Every day is a learning experience! Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is truly wonderful! I ordered a morning roll, the works breakfast box, and two coffees, and they were all perfect! The food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and definitely worth the money. The customer service was great too. Overall, a fantastic place to dine. Thank you!
I visited this small, inconspicuous place on Leith Walk today, and it surpassed all expectations! The man who works there is extremely kind and friendly. They offer a good selection of food at a reasonable price, with excellent service. Thank you very much!
I visited this place on my trip to Edinburgh recently, a great independent cafe. The service was gamazing I Had a breakfast roll and a coffee while sitting outside enjoying the weather while we have it. The flowers outside gives it a unique charm
