We will definitely be trying more here. Had the cabbage roll special, and it was just like made at home. Side of fries - excellent, perfectly cooked, real gravy, and perfect serving sizes. Hubby had a steak sandwich, which he also said was excellent. Tried to coconut cream pie - OMG. It is my fav and I have tried many, and this was the best ever, including comparing it to my own, which is now 2nd best. The crust was perfect, flaky, tender. The filling generous, creamy, full of toasted coconut. And real whipped cream with more toasted coconut on top. Plus, it was so very fresh, as pie, especially cream pie, should be. Had a group of 12 coworkers go for breakfast here after a night shift and I have to say I was very impressed!! We were greeted with a warm friendly server and sat down with fresh coffee ready to go! She then presented us with a large thermos for the table which saved her multiple trips and us from running out! Very smart! We waited for a straggler to join us 30 mins or so after and we ordered. Breakfast took very little time to come and all 12 orders were correct and deliscious!. Very reasonably priced, generous portions and tasty. Will definitely do it again!
We had breakfast at the Diner this week and we enjoyed it very much. This place must be a well-kept secret because it wasn't very busy the time we were there. The food was delicious and plentiful and the price was right. The server was very friendly and ready to serve our coffee just as we sat down. We didn't have to wait very long for our food. This wasn't our first time here nor will it be our last.
This restaurant is a little gem that serves good food and plentiful servings. The service was very friendly and fast. The food was tasty and fresh. For lunch we had Ceasar salad, haddock burger, BLT, and a special spicy hot dog ( forgot the name). The food was more like home made. The prices here are reasonable and we will eat here again.
