Diorio Restaurant Bar

Excited the restaurant has reopened. The decor was mixed, modern paintings on the wall, while they were nice it didn’t fit in with the original decor. Our server came over, never introduced himself until my husband asked for his name. There was only 4 of us, yet he kept forgetting who had what throughout the night. Sorry to say he was just an order taker, not engaging at all. Management needs to provide additional training, especially for the prices you pay you expect top of the line service. The appetizers came out rather fast. Both the long hots and chopped salad were tasty. The portions are small but then again we tend to eat too much so I thought it was perfect. I recently had one of the best dinners ever at Diorio. The lobster bisque and calamari were outstanding, and the pasta dishes were top tier. The drink and wine selection was extensive, and the staff was excellent. The servers were prompt and knowledgeable, answering any questions we had. If you're looking for a sign to visit Diorio, this is it! My wife and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here - cheers!

When traveling for work I try super hard not to eat at chains and tonight did not disappoint. This had to be one of the best chicken parmesan dishes that I've had in ages. I wish I lived in CT to come back here but I know it's here if I'm ever passing through again. The Lemoncello Martini was also a win on my book. This restaurant is an excellent option for both locals and visitors. The service is top-notch and perfect for a nice dinner. The price per person is $100 or more. I recommend trying the Escargot, Lobster Bisque, Scallop Risotto, and Shrimp Cocktail.
