The chicken burger was delicious, especially for just £5 during the weekday lunch hour, which made it even better. The chips were average, but I would definitely recommend trying the Dirty Bird. It’s a perfect place for a midday snack—quick and convenient. I got a huge chicken burger, chips, and a pint for just £14. However, I noticed they automatically added service to the bill, which I think is a bit sneaky. Gratuities should be left to the customer's discretion, not imposed by the restaurant. Just a thought!

Our water glasses were consistently refilled, everything was spotless, and the decor had a charming rustic and quirky vibe. As for the food—wow! It was delicious, particularly the chicken burger. I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our meals. We also saved room for dessert and ordered the brownie, which was incredibly moist, freshly baked, and paired perfectly with the cool vanilla ice cream.
