Went for a friends leaving party on Thursday night. Ordered off the 4 courses for £22 A few of us didn’t have dessert and asked our waitress would it be ok if we got a cocktail instead of the dessert option, our lovely waitress said it would not be an issue. After desserts since our “4 courses” included tea coffee (so we thought) a few of us ordered teas and coffees. Much to our dismay there was an extra £40 for drinks included. The girl who took our bill was rude and her attitude was much to be desired as she tried to “blame” our lovely waitress when we brought this issue up. A bit disappointed on our visit. Not what it used to be ! My biggest annoyance was the way in which our server lifted our starter plates before we had all finished!! Just don’t think this should be the case. Same with mains….asked if we were finished when it was obvious one of the party wasn’t! We didn’t have desserts but we weren’t offered tea/coffee or indeed another drink! Very poor not the District 45 we’ve been to before on many occasions. Food generally was ok but some starter portions seemed smaller than previously. Just can’t quite explain it but the sparkle has sadly gone. We won’t be returning in a hurry!
We will start with the positives. There are a lot of staff working and the cheesey garlic bread was nice. Apart from that it was very disappointing. We asked for all of our meals at the same time. This didn 't happen. We asked for the sauce on the side this didn 't happen. This made our main course all taste the same. The chips were underdone, sent back and were burnt. We told our server this when asked if everything was OK. She said no worries and walked off!!
We had booked into D45 on a busy Saturday night. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table where we were immediately offered menus and asked for our drinks order. The drinks arrived quickly, as did the food. We had two of the chicken dishes, both of which were excellent, followed by chocolate brownies for dessert. The venue was well staffed and the service was superb. Definitely worth a visit.

I was part of a large group and I have to say that the food and the service was amazing. Most of us ate from the 4 course set menu priced at £24. This was great value. The portions were very generous and the food was really good. The staff were very efficient and very friendly and welcoming.
Off the beaten track but was recommended by a friend so had to give it a try. Was pleasantly surprised by the extremely friendly staff and the food was first class! 4 courses for £26, fantastic value Will definitely be back, loved it!
The salt chilli chicken starter was just outstanding. The rustic sourdough bread rolls to accompany the soup where very generous in size. The main courses did not disappoint the portion portions are all very generous.
Had a wonderful meal last night. 14 family friends had a get together. Food was excellent, service very good and the craic to die for. Will definitely go again when I come back from England.
