After enjoying a fun pottery-painting session at Tru 2 Hue, my friends and I were hungry and decided to try District Bistro based on some online reviews. We ordered several appetizers and an entrée to share, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were clearly top-quality, and the dishes were thoughtfully prepared. Outstanding food at an unbeatable value! District Bistro should be at the top of your list when dining in Montgomery County. I started with the gumbo, while my husband enjoyed the lobster bisque—both were fantastic and perfect for a chilly, rainy evening. For our main courses, I had the homemade potato gnocchi paired with braised short rib, and my husband chose the allspice Moulard duck breast. Both dishes were exceptional! We finished with the chocolate bread pudding drizzled with homemade caramel sauce. A fantastic hidden gem in Wheaton! Ideal for a date night or happy hour. The service was excellent, and the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed a Manhattan, charcuterie board, and short ribs.
