Large homemade grill, sides and desserts! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich with green beans and Mac, and a pulled pork plate with potato salad and baked beans, so we could share! Everything was fantastic and you could definitely say that every single product was homemade. We ordered a piece of Pecan Pier and coconut cake for dessert for the street. The service was friendly and welcoming and quick to sit and serve us. They support law enforcement and seem to be a neighborhood stop with a lot of local character and sass! Definitely will return as a pitstop in our future trips!
Our company has been using Dixie Bones to cater our events for years now, and we just had two events that they catered that showed exactly why we keep going back to them. Our catering order was delivered early and set up/taken down completely by the dixie bones employee. It made my job as the planner extremely easy, and I was able to enjoy myself at the event as well without stressing. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is outstanding. I 100% recommend this company for any of your catering needs.
I actually went into labor in this restaurant 23 years ago and refused to leave without my collar greens because they are my favorite. I still feel that way today. Unfortunately, we're stationed in North Carolina now, so it's a little bit of a drive.We stopped in this week to grab our favorite color greens and pork barbecue. I love grabbing food from here for dinner. I always get the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and the delicious white sauce for dipping. You won’t be disappointed. A must visit BBQ Spot if you are looking for an absolute big hole in the Wall Arta Square. From large friendly staff to good price menu items, this restaurant will deliver. So fresh and tasteful were the dishes we order, yes! Our waiter David) first made a good experience. Thank you. See you soon.
Best grill in the DC subway area, hands down. There's no competition. This restaurant has not changed much in the several decades. It serves alabama style grill, and it is delicious. The pork grill is my favorite. Vegetarians are warned that there is almost nothing that is vegetarian.
Great restaurant and country atmosphere. The pulled chicken sandwich needs more taste and the pommes more salt. You can always add salt, so not a big thing.
