Terrible service! I stood in line to check in, and a guy just pushed in front of me without a word. When I pointed out that I was waiting, he claimed he was there to pick up takeout. The hostess saw everything but did nothing to assist. When I finally checked in at my reservation time, the table still wasn't ready. There were several servers milling about and chatting with each other. There was absolutely no reason for our table to be unprepared. So, my husband and I chose to leave.
The standout feature of this restaurant was the patient server. We took our time exploring the menu, and it had plenty of options to satisfy our cravings. Another great aspect was the generous portion of wine during happy hour! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable dining experience, perfect for a relaxed date night.
Food and service were excellent! Love the old school vibe in this fabulous Chicago location. Our waiter was so attentive, extremely kind, and super knowledgeable on all the ingredients to meet our dietary needs. Thank you, Brooks and Doc B’s for a great night out in the city.
Cooper was our waiter for lunch, and he was fantastic—very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed the guacamole, tuna salad, and Brussels sprout salad, all of which were delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
The waitress was attentive and the drinks served quickly. The baked potato was very good, the chicken was great, however the salmon was cold and maybe a small 6-oz.
Excellent food, people and service. Tremendous server (whose name I forget). Others stopped by the table to see how everything was. Very nice as usual. thank you.
The food was incredibly bland and not worth the cost. We ordered family style to sample a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, everything was disappointing.
