Hot spot barbecue location on main street in downtown louisville. Menu fits all appetites whether it be steak, chicken, vegetarian or seafood lover. Highly recommend the fried okra... Breaded to perfection, the oysters on the Half shell taste like high dollar and are house prices. Finally the crab cakes are full of delicious crab meat and cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back. Recommend making reservations as this is a popular location
This place was fabulous and we ordered the half a chicken that was deep-fried in a chili sauce. I got the barbecue potato chips and my husband upgraded to the baked beans, and it was all cooked perfect and fabulous! Virginia our waitress, she was absolutely delightful. She made the best old fashions that we have had on our trip. Maybe the bartenders from Wisconsin need to come take lessons, lol. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Nathan our server and Kip were amazing! Best customer service ever. We came to eat shrimps for the oysters, not dissapoint. The sampler plate with ribs was delicious, but the chicken stole the show! Do not sleep on this green with malt vinegar... The food is above the top, but the service takes this place on a completely new level. I hope the powers that know how proud they are in this business.
In town on business. Three of us. We read the reviews. Very good service, cool ambiance, easy to find, plenty of adjacent parking. Food was very good. We had ribs, shrimp and oysters po boy and fried pork chops. All were good. I recommend a reservation on busy nights. Réservez une table maintenant
Our food was good, really like the vibe there and then our server took us for tour to look at all the different bourbons throughout the property. That place is steeped in history! Will definitely be going back there next time we're in Louisville.
great bar! great happy hour old fashion, $4.00 service was also great! after drying the distillery next door for a drink or two stopped. the oysters were fresh, fleshy and tasty. very recommend this device!
Amazing service, Great food and our server Nathan was the best. Got me my refills before I even knew I wanted them. Always checked up on us and made sure everything was good. Highly recommend.
