Dock Mikes Pancake House

We wondered why we weren't even with Dock Mike? The last visit reminded us too clearly? Overpriced. Incompetent. Rude. Just a few of the properties that determine other restaurants in Sea Isle. Are they worried? as who should wait for tables. We waited to serve in length, but we saw that two other tables stand up and go without ever being welcomed. Server pretended to do us a favor by taking our order. Prices have always been a problem here, but now there are items that were included with a Entrée (Heimfries), now a-la-carte. Food was alright, delicious, and average amount. Service was average. It took a little while for us to get our food, but we were a larger group. My main issue with the service was that our food was staggered coming out, 2 plates every 5 minutes. I was not impressed with the amount of food for the special, chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles was mediocre at best, especially as being advertised as a special. It consisted of 2 chicken strips with a Waffle House type waffles, not worth the 16 dollars. Extremely overpriced and disappointing. The food was mediocre and far too costly for what it was. I spent over $50 for a couple of average French toast meals. To make matters worse, they only accept cash, so if you forget to bring it, you're stuck using their ATMs, which adds to your overall expenses. You can't bring your own drinks, and even water costs $2. It feels pretty shady to me. On a positive note, our waiter was excellent! Overall, it was a negative experience, and I won't be coming back.

Dock Mikes has been a tradition of our family as long as I can remember. In my 22 years my family has come to Sea Isle City almost every summer and gone to Dock Mike’s just as often. We’ve had family celebrations like my moms 50th surprise birthday and countless birthdays with candles stuck into pancakes. I’ve graduated from the kids menu rainbow pancakes to ordering off the “regular” menu. Our family has so many happy memories of Dock Mikes and we’ll be sure to come back every summer. Way overpriced for average breakfast food. Large menu but you could eat at IHOP and get pretty much the same meal for a fraction of the price. Drinks come out in such small cups $4 for a miniature glass of chocolate milk, no refills by the way). Cash only, no split checks, lots of staff standing around twiddling their thumbs. Next time I?ll get Wawa for breakfast *mic drop*

The restrooms are outdated, and the prices for everything felt excessively high—$5 for a side of bacon? That's outrageous. I think the management should take a hard look at their offerings, as more and more customers seem to be leaving negative reviews and feeling let down. I sincerely hope they can improve in the future because this place had potential.

Went here for a late breakfast. A little pricey $52 for 2) but the food was OUTSTANDING and the service was awesome too! I highly recommend. Make sure that you take cash because they don't accept cards of any kind. Luckily, they have an ATM machine inside the restaurant. How convenient, eh?!! ?

Decent food, but way too expensive. Over $100 before tip for: 1 order of blueberry pancakes, 1 order of chocolate peanut butter pancakes, 1 strawberry waffle and an Eggs Benedict. Plus, drinks are all served in cans. Not even a glass of water, you need to pay $2.00 for a bottle. Réservez une table maintenant

This is a great spot for breakfast along Landis Road. They offer a wide variety of breakfast options, including some delicious pancake specialties. The service was excellent too!
