Doctor-Weinstuben Hotel

We stayed overnight so ate both lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The lunch menu was interesting, tasty, reasonably priced and delicous. The dinner menu included the lunch menu list plus mostly standard meals. My wife had the liver, which she enjoyed. I had the medalians, which were excellent; however the vegtables were over cooked and soggy. Would like to give this place an excellent rating, but our experience doesn't warrant that rating level.

· Charming and authentic furnishings in a good location. Friendly staff. The parking spaces are located on the river. Minimum walk. Great breakfast, and this city was the most beautiful of all Mosel and Rhineland cities we visited, including Cochem and Bacharach and Beilstein (beautiful, but tiny), when you try to decide your base. Stunning city and perfect hotel!

This restaurant offers high-quality and seasonal dishes. We were a large group (with reservation) and we were very well received and advised when ordering our foods. The staff was friendly and correct and the food was excellent. I recommend this restaurant if you want to visit Bernkastel!

Our group had dinner in this old and beautiful house. We had three courses: consommé, meat and desert. All were efficiently served by the friendly staff and all three tasted very well. Nice place!

Stopped by and was treated so rudely we had a drink and left. Would have considered the place for dinner, but after the rudeness moved on.
