Wow what a gem, new owners and big changes, if you enjoy real ales open fire with local hospitality then I highly recommend this pub, a landlord that genuinely knows about the ales he serves along with taking the time to welcome each customer to the bar, what a pleasure to enter a pub that doesn't have every table laid out for dinners, not a vinegar jar in sight. a pub for meeting up with friends to chat and enjoy an evening, good luck and best wishes to the new landlord, and thank you for giving us a fantastic real ale pub back,this dog and gun is in Keyham,

What a fabulous place. Fitted us in as a walk in today for Sunday lunch, which was much appreciated. Food was delicious, served piping hot and quickly. Service was excellent. Very efficient and clearly well trained. We’ll done all.. will definitely be back to sample the rest of your menu

Fantastic! Got us a seat very last minute, service was spectacular and very accommodating. The food was thoroughly enjoyed by all 10 people. Will definitely be going back again

Nice village pub with better than your normal pub food. Parking limited. Fish batter needed a bit of seasoning but still nice. Staff friendly

Lovely pub with great staff. Good choice of beers. Including mild. Food is wonderful. Drinkers and foodies both served well
