Dog House Drive In

I'm still on the Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail in New Mexico. But I couldn't resist leaving the way on the old Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Foot Long Chile Dog at Dog House Drive In in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This isn't the same dark chili with bean sauce we'd come back in California. This is red New Mexico chili sauce. It is thin and spicy, and it is really good with the divided grilled skinless beef hot dog. It is a real treat and Dog House Drive-In is easy to find directly on the old Route 66 near the old town of Albuquerque. It's worth it! And look at the sign that the Neon Doggie dares his dick.

Only a reliability note since '13. Now at approx. 576 Footlong Chile Cheese Dogs with onions. Reminder: Chile is a new Mexican Red Chile formula, not brown Tx-Mx/Coney Island type, aka chili. (Red Green Chile, along with the Pinto Bean, are the official state vegetables. Coupling? Stay the orange drink to add Chile. Ketchup with your hair, Red Chile helps to cut heat if necessary. It is a Route 66 symbol that goes back to the middle of the 50s. Besides the FLCCD, it is for shielding with neon tube for the wagging tail of the roof dog (see via Youtube search: the dog house of albuquerque. Muy Sabroso!

Hubby and I ate in Dog House as part of our Breaking Bad nerdy adventure! We live in Grand Island, Nebraska and now have a Kiddo in Albuquerque. I wasn't too sure about it at first, but omg loved it!!! I'm not big on spicy, but the chili was great! My husband and I have long since. We had both foot long chili dogs with cheese and chili cheese pommes! If someone has a copycat recipe that's close to her, I'd be grateful! If we're ever back in the ABQ, we'll eat there again!

One and only likes it... everywhere. If you love Mom and Pop Cafés, you have to try the Dog House. This is not a place for the shy woman, the Chile here will light you up. I have lived here for a long time and if I want a Chilean cheese dog that is the place to be. It's a Burque classic I highly recommend. Foot-length Chile cheese with onions, chili sauces and a Dr. Pepper...no ice cream please and thank you....If you love New Mexican Chile, you have to try... together.

Will be coming back to this place!!! The only thing I don't recommend is getting anything with chili for your little ones, my son ordered chili cheese fries and wasn't able to eat it cause it was too spicy for him but other than that we were satisfied :
