I went either my mom who's my carer as I'm disabled. They had a psychic fayre on and as I went to sit in an empty chair a staff member told me that I couldn't sit there as the bar table was reserved (there were no reserved signs on it) We were told by the bar staff that if we wanted a drink we'd have to stand outside. I saw the advertisement on a sandwich board as I drove past and nothing stated that I had to book a table if I wanted a drink. It's bad enough being discriminated against on most days but they made me feel like a naughty dog who had to be put outside. I was so upset that it completely put me off going out all together, you shouldn't be made to stand outside to drink, regardless...
We received an amazing greeting and smile from a lady wearing a red or pink jacket upon arrival, which set a pleasant tone for our dining experience. The restaurant was lovely and very clean. The food was delicious, particularly the fish and chips and gammon meal with fries. My mother, who was a chef when she was younger, could appreciate the quality of the food and especially loved her fish and chips. Thank you to the staff for making our visit a delightful experience. The Heath family highly recommends this restaurant. Five stars!
Myself and my husband use the dog frequently, i doubt i will be going back after the waitress attitude last night. The steak deal that i had no idea about until after id ordered ended up costing far more than shiuld have because the server didnt bother to mention a small wine was included in the deal?! She shrugged and walked away ... not great customer service?!
Nice pub first time visiting the service was good very pleasant young man who served our table. We had starters which was lovely but unfortunately I had a sirloin steak for my main meal which had alot of grizzle on it which was unedable . When I told the waiter he was able to reduct the steak off the bill. So all in all we received good service Réservez une table maintenant
Visited for a family meal 2 adults one child and a dog. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We sat outside in the rear garden. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great. We had the whole garden to ourselves which surprised us but we're not complaining. We always enjoy visiting the dog and will definitely be returning.
