The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. The customer service was professional, but a bit slow. The food was delicious, with our group enjoying dishes such as shrimp, jambalaya, chicken wings, shrimp quesadilla, and Dogwood Eggrolls. The price of the food was just right. I would love to try all of the dishes, as everyone in our group indicated that their meals were excellent. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to a friend. Just make sure to be careful where you park, as there is a section with a two-hour limit that is strictly enforced.
I visited on a Monday evening on my way back home after remembering how I enjoyed their sister restaurant Bear Branch Tavern. Parking can be challenging in this area, so walking a block or so can be expected. I recently started going to Dogwood Tavern after the Dogfish Head in Falls Church closed. I was looking for a low key brew pub with a good beer selection, friendly staff and good burgers. The owner has done a great job keeping Dogwood Tavern warm and inviting. The staff is friendly, the beer selection is good and the food is decent. My son loves the burgers and waffle fries. It would be nice if they had a burger option on the kids menu. On Tuesday night they have raw bar
Not too bad of a walk from the hotel. I looked at their menu online and saw the Cajun food Chasin' Tails had removed from theirs. Nice ambiance. Opened with the Dogwood Spring Rolls, quite a Cajun bend on a eastern appetizer. I went for the Jambalaya with added grilled shrimp for my meal. Moderately spicy and very tasty. I finished with one of their dessert offerings. I was full when I left and walked some of it off on the way back.

We met friends for an early dinner. The food was good as well as the on tap beverages. I had a cider that was delicious and ordered two appetizers from the seafood specials; one was clams and the other mussels. Both were good. My wife had a craft beer and fish tacos. She enjoyed both. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, which made it a good meeting place for conversation.
I really enjoy this restaurant. Their Huevos Rancheros for brunch are the best I've ever had. The food is delicious and the service is incredibly fast. There are several outdoor seating areas, even more than indoor seating. Inside, there is a long bar with a wide selection of beers on tap. Make sure to say hi to the fantastic bartender, Amber. She's a lot of fun.
The Cajun pasta was superb, rating it 5 out of 5. The salmon dish was decent, scoring 3.75 out of 5. The strawberry shortcake was average, comparable to something you might find at a food court, earning a rating of 3 out of 5. The portions were decent but not overly generous. Prices were slightly on the higher side, but still reasonable.
Hands down the best service we have had in the area. Went for a quick bite with my husband and baby. Everyone from the hostess to the manager was extremely attentive and overly apologetic for the minor wait. Food was great too!

Loved the old style sports bar and a restaurant. Food was delicious and service was extraordinary. The lady served the food was very knowledgeable and doing above and beyond with our requests.
