Vegetarian here for a vegan/plant-based review! Dolan's Uyghur Cuisine has something for both vegans and non vegans, so you can definitely dine here if you're in a party with various dietary needs! We ordered appetizer, Uyghur Salad (vegan), and their food is definitely on the spicy side, even though we ordered a mild. If you're someone who can't really handle spice, definitely make that known to your waiter. My waiter was knowledgeable about which items were plant-based, but I also double checked that they didn't contain milks/eggs. The vegan entree items are mostly their noodle based dishes. I ordered the Laghman which was very flavorful and came with tomatoes and other veggies. The noodle...

I had Dolan 's bookmarked for some time and I 'm glad I was able to try it. They have a small parking lot however street parking is a breeze. We luckily went in after the lunch rush so we got the last open spot. It 's nicely decorated inside and the outdoor seating has a large mural. They have a QR code with table numbers for digital menus and contactless ordering but they also came up to our table with the physical menu. Ordering was simple and they confirmed our order as well. I got the special tea and it came in a beautiful pot with cups with very cute cup holders. It was floral and sweet. We tried the chicken plate, Goshnaan meat hand pie and lamb soup. The chicken plate was huge for the...

First time to this place, been on my map list, and they did not disappoint. They have a parking lot in the back which was nice. limited seating inside. Service was quick. I had the big plate chicken, large size, definitely a lot of chicken. There could of been more noodles, as the noodles were fresh and delicious. The sauce was on point as well. Also the flavor is even better the next day after reheating. Goes well with rice too. I also tried their braise lamb pot. Pretty gamey and strong, and I love lamb. But mixed with the big plate chicken sauce, it does the job. Curious to try their lamb skewers next time. Highly recommend to come here and try something different in SGV.

Been here twice. There 's some hit or miss dishes. The dishes I don 't care for are the polo rice dish...just too cumin-y with a funky after taste, the pastry dish was okay but took like 30 minutes to get. It 's good but not to the point i would wait that long again. I 'm not really a lamb person but everyone around me raved how good it was. And i abbe to admit, there 's not a big gamey after taste. Chicken plate with noodles, has a small kick. I like the thickness of the noodle. Cucumbers are so refreshing, crisp and has tons of garlic. I can 't remember which noodle dish I liked. So stay tuned for an update! Réservez une table maintenant

When asked why it would take another 20 minutes, minimum, for food to arrive, after we 'd already been waiting for at least 40 minutes, the answer the staff gave was, well, the chef likes to batch certain dishes together, and yours are less common. Apparently the table next door 's dishes weren 't very common either, since they were waiting before we got there and left at the same time. There was no apology given except for a bowl of yogurt. We left without eating. Consider hiring a chef who makes dishes in the order that customers arrive.

Since there's no Tibetan restaurant in SoCal, we visited Dolan's because Uyghur food is similar in some ways. We were blown away by how delicious it was. We had the Laghman noodles, Big Plate Chicken and Leghirdaq (starch noodles called Laphing in Tibetan). Everything was handmade and fresh with a depth of flavor. The noodles were fresh hand pulled and we loved the cumin and spices in the sauces. So glad we visited.
