Went here for a double date a few weeks back. A friend at the table was having issues finding a plate she wanted. When she asked for a pasta plate with an order of chicken ON THE SIDE, it was flat out refused. Everything was prepared the true Italian way . I payed for my appetizer and we left. I do not belive this food is cooked on premises; it is made elsewhere (the other restaurant) and brought in. This is why they can not simply add a chicken breast on the side.What really amazes me is the audacity the owner has to be combative and criticize a factual review. She then took the time to try to shame my friend who wrote a truthful review not once but twice by editing her response a week late...
Avoid this place if you're not ready for food that will stir your emotions—because the flavors will definitely leave an impression in the best way possible. It takes you on a delightful journey and leaves you feeling satisfied. It's refreshing to find this kind of experience in Staten Island, which, in my opinion, has lost its authentic culinary charm. This restaurant will bring back those nostalgic memories you've been missing for so long. You’ll want to visit again and again. We tried the Lasagna Bolognese and Tartufato, and they were absolutely magnificent!
I was really let down by my experience. I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews and wanted to bring my mom along. I paid for parking, only to find a closed sign when I arrived. It felt like a waste of time, especially since there was no indication online that they weren't open. It’s frustrating to be hungry and excited about trying a new place, only to have it not work out. This situation could have been easily prevented.
The restaurant is not only beautifully decorated, but the service is also impeccable and the food is fantastic. We visited for breakfast, and I’m already looking forward to returning for dinner on Friday. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating! Even though it was my first visit, they made me feel like a longtime friend rather than a stranger. You absolutely need to indulge in this AMAZING CULINARY DELIGHT. I would give it 10 stars, not just 5!

We stopped by this charming little Italian restaurant on a whim during our travels, and we’re so glad we did! Although the full menu wasn’t available, we decided to stay, and it was definitely the right choice. Everything we tried, from the coffee to the panini to the dessert, was absolutely amazing. If you’re ever in SI, make sure to check this place out—you won’t regret it!
The food was good, but the exorbitant prices are hard to justify. Each pasta dish costs around $40, and for that price, I expect a more upscale atmosphere. The online photos didn't match what I saw in person; it felt more like a casual café than a fine dining experience.
A hidden gem on Staten Island! Every dish is prepared with the utmost attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients are second to none. The staff is welcoming and wonderful and they truly make dining there such a pleasant experience.
This place has been my favorite restaurant for over a year now and remains to be my favorite restaurant. John is the nicest guy I've ever met and his food is to die for. I will keep bringing friends and family here. Can't recommend it enough
