Dolce Italia Italian Sarasota

Had dinner at Dolce on Saturday night. A small restaurant with 12 tables. We chose a Savor Sarasota menu. 3 courses just wonderful food. A shrimp appetizer for me great choice. My husband had eggplant with ricotta-delicious. Puttanesca pasta with shrimp also wonderful. Al had a pasta with eggplant and sausage. Wonderful flavors nice portions. Limoncello cake heavenly. Best part quiet atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Perfect choice?

I don't go too often to Sarasota because it's a couple hours away, but since the day we visited Dolce Italia for the 1st time, we fell in love!!! The food was INCREDIBLE!!! The atmosphere was outstanding and to have the Chef come to the table and ask how everything was, made it even more special. We have been back twice, but I tell EVERYBODY I know that's going to visit Siesta Key. It's a MUST VISIT!!! DEEEEEEELICIOUS!!!

Dining at Docle Italia feels like going to a good friend's home for the most wonderful homemade meal! The staff are welcoming and remember your name, the food is delicious and comforting and smile inducing. The signature dish is always a crowd pleaser, the seafood dishes are layered with fresh flavors. You can't go wrong dining here. An absolute gem!

Our family has been here several times in small and larger parties. The service is personal and excellent and the housemade pastas are to die for. You should not miss this if you are in Siesta Key or Sarasota.

The restaurant was very loud. It is small, so the tables are close together and every table was full, so there was a lot of loud conversation going on. Service was good and efficient.
