In Fleetwood for the day, I called into the Dolphin Cafe, just off the Main Street but well worth seeking out, for lunch. Bright and welcoming and quite busy with regular customers, always a good sign. The menu is extensive and traditional, my food was well prepared and fairly priced, the coffee of high quality. Altogether a very good experience which added to my day and I would certainly call again.
As always, Nile and Tim served up a lovely meal.We had 3 sausages with mashed potatoes, peas,fried onions and gravy, with a lovely big pot of tea. You're always satisfied with the Dolphins meals. There's always a friendly welcome, with fast service, the toilets are nice and clean,and the prices are very reasonable. There's also good disabled access. Excellent, we'll be back again!
Another trip to Fleetwood and another visit to the Dolphin. Once again this has lived up to it's reputation with top quality fish and chips. This time we tried take away and it could not be faulted. Freshly cooked haddock which was firm, white and very fresh and tasty. The quality of this fish here is really top notch. Already looking forward to returning later this year.
We went due to reviews that it 's the best cafe in Fleetwood , well there must be some really bad ones . I chose the roast beef , the meat was inedible, you couldn 't cut it with a knife at all ,deep fried potato 's not roast, lots of peas,cabbage and carrots they were the best bit) tasteless gravy. The burger was dry .The steak pie had been microwaved so was very soggy. Réservez une table maintenant
Absolutely the best breakfast ever. Fast, friendly service in a lovely, cosy cafe. Disabled access and toilets. We had a big breakfast and a lasagne chips 3 veg and gravy. Also a smashing big pot of tea and water. I'm so glad that Tim and Nile are keeping the high standards of the Dolphin Cafe. We'll definitely be back
Very near us, but only just got round to reviewing it. Basic but good cafe. Never had a bad meal here, from roast dinner, omelets to full breakfast. Consistently good, decent portions, good value and nice staff!!!...Nothing not to like
Always go where the locals go as we know where the best breakfasts are served. This a quaint little cafe and the owners are really nice, we have before now had to wait for a table for breakfast
