Dom-café - Réservation de table

I have been enjoying this beautiful cafe since 1977. I stop at their counter and enjoy the incredible displays of freshly baked pastries and cakes. Then taking my slip I find a quiet table in the cafe, order my Kännchen Kaffe and try to work my way through a local German newspaper. The servers in their stiffly starched little white aprons bring your order and are prompt, friendly and smile when I comment on the “typisch Deutsch” environment of allowing well-behaved dogs to sit quietly at their owner’s feet. It is always one of the highlights to my visits to Mainz.

Elegant, tastful cafe with the dazzling dessert selection. We came for a cup of coffee but stayed for lunch. Spinach quiche was very mild, soft inside with well baked pastry. Thr potato soup was delicious. Black forest cherry cake toped it all. Our server was so friendly and cheerful that our lack of German language did hinder our communication. Overall, we had a great experience.

Very central café, right in front of the Mainz Cathedral. Ideal place to watch the ride on the Domplatz with a good cup of coffee. The selection of cakes and cakes is conservative, but of good quality. The services are beautiful and on Trapp. Good stop for a shopping trip with the wife or girlfriend.

We visited for cake and coffee and were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service of our waitress and the gorgeous apple pie strudel. Cannot wait to return on our next trip to Mainz. Réservez une table maintenant

Walnut cake was a little dry, chocolate mugs were not chocolate rasps, but chocolate flakes, that would have been only 3 stars, but the service was nice and friendly, therefore 4 stars

Very delicious cakes and cakes. A traditional café with magnificent views of the beautiful Mainz Markplatz. Here you can also meet many real Meenzers with life experience.

this is an excellent caffe right next to the mainzer dom, therefore the name. the caffe is beautifully decorated and very cozy. it is a perfect place. Réservez une table maintenant

I am very confident that the apfelstrudel is served here, the same apfelstrudel, which is served in the sky. with 2 vanilleeis blades.
