Just after Christmas we were looking for a traditional German restaurant to end our holiday. This was a great choice! We called ahead and they reserved a table for us. We ordered schnitzel with mushroom sauce, pork knuckle and Cordon Bleu. All were very large portions and delicious! Friendly, attentive service! We also took doggy bags home as the portions were just too large for us. Good value for money.

Had a reservation but staff were not really helpful at the start to arrange a table outside for us. Took at least half an hour before we had our first drink very unusual when ordering Kölsch! Agree the weather was good but inside they were empty. Once the first and second round of the smallish glasses arrived the waiter seemed to have worked it out. Food was a bit quicker and quite good.

One of the few typical German restaurants in Leverkusen. Very nice german food, local visitors and friendly service! Food is simple and not expensive
