I don 't like to give bad ratings, but this time I have to. Let me explain it in more detail than I usually do. Although we found out afterwards that there was a wedding inside, but the first waitress came to us at least 20 minutes after we set down. First beer arrived after another 20 minutes. We could order the food after then, but didn 't receive it until the next 50 minutes. We were here for the first time yesterday and just in time on site to enjoy the beautiful small farm terrace before the big rain started. The food and wine were excellent, the ambience familiary and authentic. Man immediately notices that the owners run your restaurant with body and soul. My wife and I love such places we come back safely!

We've been eating there more often and it's always tasted good. On 15.09. we had a family celebration with 24 people in the cellar vault. The tables were very nice. The decoration was discreet and adapted for the occasion. The food and service were as usual great.

So good! Try the pork fillet. Sauce is amazing. Also potato pancakes are great!! If you are in Merseburg you must come here!
