In order food from here probably more regularly than my doctor would condone and have done since moving to Tewksbury mid 2023. Since then it’s been a mixed bag experience, the food is as you’d expect, its pizza and it’s yet to confine me to the porcelain throne, however, it is obscenely expensive, I just paid £26 (ish) for a gluten free pizza, which comes only in one size and would barely satiate a borrower. It’s advertised as 9.5”, a good number for a man to boast about at the pub but in the pizza world, that’s roughly 4” in the bedroom, some would argue adequate, but most would consider it disappointing. Was told it would be a 10minute wait, ended up being 40. Told we couldn’t order certain sides that were part of the deal so chose 2 we were told we could have. Basically because he couldn’t work the till. Ended up getting 2 garlic pizza breads even though we ordered 1 garlic pizza bread and 1 wedges. Deal came with cookies, well it didnt because they never gave it to us. Ordered 2 large dips. Got given 1. Had to argue and then find receipt that stated 2. Made official complaint through website, someone was supposed to contact us, they havent. Wont be coming using dominos again. Nowhere near worth the amount of money. We had a excellent meal when we went to subway (21/8). Served by a friendly young man who explained the options and was very polite. We had never been to subway before but we were blown away by the amount of choice and the number of different salad and sauce options there were. I went for a chicken and bacon salad with sweet onion sauce. It was very filling but absolutely delicious, the chicken is definitely nicer warmed up. My friend had a meatball footlong on hearty Italian and had all the salad making a very full but tasty sub. A lovely girl took our payment and explained the meal deal to us which we chose to do. I ordered food for delivery during my lunch break at work. The food tracker indicated that the order was out for delivery. After waiting for an hour, I called the restaurant and was informed that the oven was broken, leading to the cancellation of my order. I expressed my frustration to the manager, explaining that we had gone without food on our lunch break because we were not notified of the issue. Despite this, the manager only offered a 10% discount on our next order and showed no empathy for our situation. The food took 40 minutes from when it apparently left the store to be marked as delivered . Unfortunately it wasn 't delivered. It was delivered 5 to 10 minutes later and was cold. Contacted customer services the next day they asked me to send a photo of the pizza ! Please don 't post the auto response telling me to contact you because I 've already done that.

The staff were lovely and served me asap, however it was clear that the 2 staff members were swamped with online deliveries. I think this is something Subway should think about, it’s not fair to put the job of multiple people on just 2 staff members, especially on a Saturday lunchtime

I turned up with my 4 young children at 4pm, ordered, and was then told the seating area was shut at 4pm even though they were open until 6pm. Clearly he was in the process of cleaning and closing up even though the store was open for another 2hrs!

The pizza was very overcooked and had onions stuck to it instead of the sweetcorn that was requested. Still waiting for a refund. Réservez une table maintenant
