First off, I am glad this shop is in the neighborhood, comforted knowing there's a decent sushi place nearby. It is located in the back of the van Aken Marketplace, toward the indoor parking garage. There are a few tables in the shop, but the Marketplace offers plenty of options to sit and watch people. You'll get a buzzer that alerts when the food is ready to be picked up. Craft Collective is close by, and I like to grab a beer while waiting for the food to be prepared. (Ah, the sweet life for a suburban dad. . Folks there are nice, which is cool, but food is horribly inconsistent and just ok at best. Got avocado sushi twice, one time it was rolled, one time it was avocado on top of rice. Both times avocado was fairly brown, one of the pieces of avocado was so brown it was inedible. They shut their frier down early but didn?t tell us until we were there to pick up the order so couldn?t adjust what we had asked for (they said they credited us but haven?t seen it come through yet). Can never get through on phones. Will definitely not be going back.
In the mood to indulge? This place serves overhyped grocery store sushi that comes with a hefty price tag. The $17 rainbow roll with just six pieces would have been much better as an eight-piece roll. On the other hand, the eel avocado roll was delightful and reasonably priced at $9. The food itself isn’t the issue—rather, this establishment feels more like a café located in a shopping mall than a traditional restaurant. It’s perfect if you’re looking for an upscale snack. I had a very disappointing experience with the yakitori. They placed my food aside and didn't call me to pick it up until I waited for 30 minutes and inquired about it. I was seated right in front of them the whole time. When I finally asked, they handed me the box, which I noticed had been sitting on the counter the entire time. By then, the yakitori was cold and as hard as a stone.

Went to this amazing eatery for lunch and it did not disappoint. Me, my daughter and son n law ordered both the chicken breast and thigh yakitori along with the Hiroshima pancake. We were so happy to have made the right choices. Definitely will go back again. Thanks for the awesome experience.
I really enjoyed my meal! The staff was friendly, and it was incredibly convenient to have the buzzer, so I didn't have to wait around. I love the location, and I've sampled a few dishes here. I definitely plan to come back in the future. Réservez une table maintenant
