I stopped in recently as I had never been to Don Cherry's. I saw that it was in a new location with lots of parking so I thought i would give it a try. Never again is all I have to say. First off, I came in around 11:30am for lunch. I was the only one there so I thought I would get fast food and great service. I sat and was reviewing the menu for a few minutes trying to decide what I would try. The server stopped by three times in the span of 5min to get my order. I felt very rushed. I must say I was disappointed with this restaurant and we will probably never eat here again. We stopped in for lunch and decided to both have fish and chips. I have to say this was the worst fish & chips I have ever had. This was our first visit to the new location, the atmosphere was exactly what we expected and always loved seeing all the hockey photos, jerseys etc. Perhaps we might stop in for a cold one someday but never to have a meal.

Just returned home from a ten day visit to Cape Breton. We ate twice at Don Cherrys and were quite satisfied with both the food and the service. Our waitress was Melanie and she has to be one of the best we have ever had. Exceptionally helpful with menu items and very friendly and cheerful. We had a number of different menu items and all were very good. We will go again next time we are in Sydney.

Debated whether to go in but glad we did. Very extensive menu for food and beer. We ended up settling on Quesidias and chicken wraps and Shock Top beer. Very good. Our server was Valerie and she was excellent in making suggestions about the food and spending some time chatting with us. Highly recommend.

The service is freindly and the wait staff are golden! You can find GF on the menu but make sure you are very specific about what you want and ask questions before you order and it arrives!

Great sports bar with awesome atmosphere. Always busy, but there is a lot of seating! Food is great and they have the best wings and nachos! Great staff also...always very friendly.

Dons is a favorite for a casual date night with the wife, we can watch the game, have a beer with supper and be served relativily quickly, great wings an friendly service.

Decent atmosphere, adequate tvs Great nacho selection. Properly done, no sad pile of chips missing cheese here. Decent assortment of beers.
