Don Julio Mexican Kitchen Tequila Ceviche Chicka

I came here for a relative's birthday. They said we didn't need to make a reservation and was able to get a seat outside on a Tuesday without no issue. Our waitress, Maria, was very helpful with any questions we had with the menu. Most of the table ordered the Carnitas, while I ordered the Baja Fish tacos because I'm always on the search for good fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. It comes with a side of fried beans and rice but I swapped out my rice for sweet plantains instead. I also tasted the carnitas from my husband's plate, it was soooo tender. The menu changed so I've updated my review! The below is still true though.So! The new menu is great. The Hawaiian Chicken is a fantastic dish, which great flavor on both the chicken breast and some of the best sweet plantains I've ever had. The tacos, guac tasty, flan fantastic. Had the chicken tacos with a mix of flour and corn tortillas with a side of rice, beans and guac, pico de gallo and sour cream. The hard shell corn tortillas tasted stale and chicken was slightly over cooked so was little disappointed. The ambiance was nice, the walls were decorated with beautiful sayings.

We love Don Julio's in Lake Nona and we were in the area shopping at Target and tried this spot. This was so good. The food is always super flavorful! Drinks never disappoint. Don Julio's Taco Tuesday deal never disappoints! My friends and I come in nearly every Tuesday it seems and it's always good! The service is amazing, the food is so flavorful, and the ambiance is fun. You just can't beat the price of $3/taco.

Santiago is the best waiter!!!!Food was amazing, it came out quickly, and the service by was him fantastic!!!Edit: second time i came here lol, I got Karilyn for my waitress this time and she was so lovely! Food was amazing again.

Had a great dinner here. Santiago was a great server and made sure we got exactly what we needed. Even helped me make the exact margarita I dreamed of! Would come again.Parking: Lots of spots even when busy inside.
