Well where do I start.....!!!! Table booked for 19:45 and we couldn 't believe how busy it got at 20:30 with 4 tables in that speaks volumes!!!!!! Service No drinks order taken when we where shown to the table.. Medioca service..... Starter Garlic chilli prawns bland and ciabatta bread cold in the middle Dolcetta Mushrooms standard Mains Prawn Chilli Linguine Tinned Tomatoes taste prawns no chilli taste. I went to the restaurant with 4 friends on the night Leicester won the football championship. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the atmosphere seemed friendly when we arrived. We ordered drinks and our starters at 7:30 pm, but they didn't arrive until 8:25. They were just okay. The mains came at 9:15, by then we had lost our appetites. The food looked like it had been reheated in a microwave. The chicken was cold, and the chips were oddly massive and extremely hot, almost inedible. My pasta dish was tasteless and seemed like it came from a packet. We were very disappointed and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. I had recently dinner here with a friend. We had two mains (risotto of the day and lasagne). As an Italian,I am disappointed to say this is not nearly Italian food though. The risotto wasn 't a real one,it was pilaf rice with mixed ingredients. The lasagna was clearly heated in the microwave (the platter was burnt and piping hot,as well as the content) and it was an indistinct 'mappazzone ' to quote Masterchef. The only good aspects were the very good wine selection and the the courtesy of the staff. Definitely not recommended if you want to have a taste of authentic Italian food.
Just had lunch at this restaurant. The pasta was delicious and the service was great. Only sorry we didn't leave a tip, forgot to bring any cash. We didn't eat the special offer menu so with drinks and ice cream, coffee etc the bill came to 38.00 for two. We thought that was good. It is the second visit and the food was very nice both times.

The decor is lovely and nice background music not too over bearing. The food was really really good, the best profiteroles I have tasted in a long time...usually I'm not a sweet person but tried those and blown away. Would highly recommend a visit no complaints from started to finish with hot chocolate and brandy : 10 out of 10
I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I had a calzone that was very satisfying and filling. The portion sizes are always just right for me.
We decided to give this restaurant in Oadby a try since it is close to us. The calzone was tasty and the service was excellent.
Nice food. Used to be slightly better a few years ago but would recommend nevertheless. Nice place for a cosy date.
