Don Pedro Cafe Bistro

I've been going to Don Pedro for years as a vegetarian and always enjoyed the lovely food and great service (hence the 3 stars). However, today on my first visit since going vegan we went and I ordered the vegan burger. We sat for about 5 minutes with our drinks and the waitress came out to tell me there was no vegan burgers left and offered me a fish burger instead. We asked to just cancel the food and finish our drinks. After this they brought out my husbands burger although we had asked to cancel. This was obviously an error in communication but just added to a disappointing experience. There was one vegan salad but we had walked 15 minutes in the mid day heat for a burger. I do think the food is lovely but a stretch for it to be on Happy Cow with two vegan offerings, one of which is unavailable. Staff also obviously not trained on vegan food as I was offered a fish burger.

The location is awesome (in front of the beach). They only have two vegan options, the bulgur burger and the salad. They were both great, although it was a different salad than the one from the online menu. Fries were thin and crunchy, really special. Patatas bravas were ok.

The vegan burger on offer was really tasty, but was not clearly marked vegan on the menu. A lovely ambiance whilst eating outside on a warm September evening. Plenty of burger and tapas options for your non-vegan friends and family too. Would recommend a visit!

Los camareros son muy amables, las hamburguesas RIQUÍSIMAS y no son cuadrados con la carta (puedes tunear los platos a tu gusto quitando o añadiendo ingredientes). Los huevos rotos buenísimos. Estoy deseando volver.

Productos muy frescos y de excelente calidad, servido con atención y esmero por sus dueños; un lugar muy bonito, con maravillosas vistas del puerto de Soller!! Para probar y probar!!
