Don Vincenzo - Réservation de table

I took my daughter and her friend to this restaurant for her birthday. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. After 45 minutes, we were served three very basic meals that were not worth the high price we paid. The food was bland and something that could easily be made at home. We were left feeling like we had been cheated out of our money. Despite the many positive reviews, our experience was not a pleasant one. We understand the rising costs for restaurants, but we can't help but feel disappointed with our meal.

Birthday celebration no children's menu despite having facilities for young children, paid £10.50 for an 18 month old child small bowl of plain pasta penne with a slice of very salty chopped bacon, whitebait starter was over cooked, seafood linguine had practically no seafood, no choice of specials given by the staff and left too long to order desserts. £185 for 4 adults and young child (4 starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts and 5 drinks extortionate! Visited on a family member recommendation will not be returning!

The wife's 40th birthday meal was here with a group of 15. We all had an amazing night. The staff could not have been more attentive, so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was simply amazing, and our thanks to the chef! The portion sizes are very generous, and prices are very reasonable. I can't thank you all enough for a wonderful night. I'd been meaning to visit this restaurant for many years, and I'm so glad we finally did. It was a night to remember.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and it will also be my last. The starter was decent, but my main dish, the risotto, was hastily thrown together with too much salt and mushrooms that tasted and had the texture of canned mushrooms. The staff constantly hovered around our table and were very rude. This is definitely a restaurant to avoid. Réservez une table maintenant

We visited Rochester on an unusually warm October Sunday afternoon ….it was very busy but they offered us a table outside , the two of had a starter each and a huge portion of mussels and a big pizza , a glass of red and a beer Portion size was plentiful and was very tasty too. Very likely to return here and recommend too

I’m surprised about the negative reviews…we popped in before going to the cathedral light show and had a very nice dinner. Very generous portions and the pizza was better than the pizza we had in Rome this August. Friendly staff and a nice buzzy atmosphere. We’d go again

Family meal for my dads 80th birthday. The food was delicious and the service was superb the staff couldn’t have been nicer to my dad, and were generally attentive efficient. We all really enjoyed our meals, and the price wasn’t bad either. Would very much recommend

We were able to get a last-minute reservation after our lunch plans fell through. Despite a few mistakes with our food, we enjoyed a fantastic meal with great service in a warm and festive atmosphere. The staff even offered us a complimentary drink. Réservez une table maintenant

We found this wonderful restaurant whilst visiting historic Rochester. The staff were friendly and attentive The food was out of this world Very authentic Italian fayre

Still my favourite italian restaurant in Rochester after 30 years. It's like experiencing authentic food in Italy. Highly recommended.
