"soup, salatable, juice, grilled seebarsch, arepa, kokosreis and grilled plantain plus two bits bonbons for under 6 usd. much good eating. only cave is not to go there from midday to a bit later, as it is dug by golden mile workers. the salatbar compares well with that at crepes and waffles, although it has no hearts of palms. a bit more variety, but it includes guacamole. the best news is that this with its meal as described above, while the salatable at crepes and waffles is about $5 usd alone. both are great for people looking for fresh vegetables, something they don't often see in medellin."

This is a U. S. styled mini cafeteria restaurant in an office building that primarily serves workers from the surrounding office buildings. Get there before noon or at two or after as it is swamped during the traditional two hour lunch period. For about we ate a large bowl of cream of carrot soup, large bowl of salad from the salad bar, half a plate of grilled white fish, large serving of coconut rice, homemade potato chips, an arepa (local specialty with theirs resembling cornbread in texture but a biscuit in shape), fresh fruit juice and a two bite cookie. Everything was excellent. No tipping and tax in the price so pesos is the total cost per person. Easy to find if you are on Avenida Pob...

These people are clear DISCRIMINATORS AND AN EMBARRASEMENT TO THE COLOMBIAN COMMUNITY MY FELLOW TOURISTS PLEASE BE WARE DO NOT COME !! This place discriminated against me ! Im a Dominican woman who lives in the USA and have never been treated this way before. When we arrived on Thursday night at the hostess insisted we needed a reservation even to sit at the bar ! At first I thought that maybe it was true, upon asking many people in the area I found that no reservation was necessary, then I assumed It was because there might have been some dress code that I didn’t meet every woman in the place was wearing heels and I was not) so I went back to the place about an hour later and it was a diffe...

Soup, salad bar, juice, grilled sea bass, an arepa, coconut rice and grilled plantain plus two two bite candies for under USD. Lots of good food. Only caveat is don't go there from noon to one or a bit later as it is mobbed...by Golden Mile workers. The salad bar compares well with the one at Crepes and Waffles, though it does not have hearts of palm. A bit more variety though and it includes guacamole. Best news is that this one comes gratis with your meal as described above whereas the salad bar at Crepes and Waffles is about USD alone. Both are great for folks looking for fresh vegetables, something you don't see all that often in Medellin.
