We were recommended to dine here by Krystie the owner of Batemans Bay Caravan Park however we had two dogs so lucky enough they do takeaway and the food was absolutely incredible. Being an ex chef I always want to try peoples recommendations and this was by far the best steak I had the eye fillet and my partner had the Scotch and we had a dozen donegan's Kilpatrick oysters which were absolutely amazing. Fresh food great service I would highly recommend if you're ever in the area.
As a local, we visit Donegans every couple of months. Visited again last week for birthdays. A Thursday night but reasonably busy. Nice reception from Michael the owner. We had the T Bone steak with pepper sauce and the chicken with a cream sauce, afterwards a pavlova shared. Meals were good sized, quick service and very tasty. I recommend the steak and the pavlova, great. Club prices, so fine with that.Will go again in a couple of months. Highly recommended.
Booked in for Christmas Lunch 2020, was given a warm welcome on arrival, window table #1. Set menu. Welcome Sparkling Wine, entrée then a large main followed by dessert tea/coffee. Was priced on the high end, but wait staff and kitchen staff would cost them a bomb on Christmas Day rates, well worth it due to the friendly and efficient service offered.
Went there for st Patricks day.I have never been to a worse restaurant in my life.Rude staff that never smiled.Service was painfully slow. The soup was great but the rest of the meal was below par. Very expensive but it was the way they spoke to customers and the nasty attitude that took us back. Réservez une table maintenant
We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and always enjoy the warm cosy atmosphere. The steaks are great accompanied with traditional Irish style potatoes and salad. The kids love the deserts and there is an adult option if desired. Always had great service.
entrée great...very good size serve on entrée and main meal and a lovely fruit icecream and pavlova for desert....nice ambiance .....great sized tables as well not all squashed all in all a great lunch
We enjoyed and excellent steak and pork dish at Donegans, and would have returned the next week, excepting they were closing for a winter break. The creme brulee was exceptional.
We stopped in here for a meal on our way to Canberra. Contrary to other reviews on here the service was impeccable and the food amazing. Definitely hope to be back. Réservez une table maintenant
