We had a stay at a local self catering destination. We wanted to try something within walking distance, and headed here. I have to say in 40+ years of buying Cod and Chips, this is a contender for the best bit of cod i have ever had. I dont know if there were herbs in the batter, or whether the fish was particularly fresh, but it was incredible. Five Star!
First time trying and thoroughly enjoyed the cod and chips. Really good portion sizes. Love the fact you get 3 options of curry sauce being chip shop, chinese and Irish. The Irish curry sauce tasted amazing. The only thing which would’ve given it 5 stars was if the batter on the fish was crispier. Other than that, a really good fish and chips!
ultimate combi for fish and chips with customer service. donnelly 's fish and chip bar was found as a very friendly place to order fish and chip. with decent size components and one must try 'irish' curry sauce. the prices were reasonable and fast service, with the possibility to eat or take away. well recommended and would use again.
decided to get chips for the birthday party of our daughter. taz and his team could not have been more helpful and more buzzing. chips were sacked and ready when they said they would be, they even opened a little early for us and the chips were delicious. Réservez une table maintenant
we like the mini-fish chip deal with a pot of mushy or curry sauce. have never had a problem with our ordering everyone enjoyed it personal are all friendly.
Outstanding fish and chips, amazing Irish Curry Sauce and loads of fab mushy peas and all served up by cheery staff. What more can you ask for?
