If you’re a delivery driver I don’t recommend picking up deliveries from here. They gave me a false wait time and had me sit around waiting for an additional 30+ minutes for only 3 items. Just for them tell me that they lost the ticket and I have to cancel the order. Second time this has happened to me, if your staff can’t handle delivery traffic along with in house guests then you shouldn’t have delivery. Never fails, this place is a complete joke
We took my mother out for her birthday. 1st time here. We were pleasantly surprised with the outstanding service. They keep the bread coming without asking, all of the food came quick, and everything tasted great. Slight mishap with one of the orders but that was quickly swapped with a fresh dish because the manager is very swift. He checks up on all tables and is a very nice guy. I definitely recommend coming here. We sure will be going back!
Brought from family here that were visiting from NY and they were very happy and pleased with the meal. Definitely the best Italian food I have had in the Chicago area. Donny G’s has great prices, and a nice menu to choose from, and excellent service from the whole staff. I went with the grilled octopus, Shrimp scampi and pappardelle bolognese for dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try some more items.
I was sooooo disappointed that the eggplant parmesian was aweful!! It was as if I ordered from a different restaurant It was very authentic prior to today. I'm done it tasted and looked like olive garden. Réservez une table maintenant
Went with my brothers and SIL’s last night. We had an outstanding night!. Food was superb! Staff was top notch! Entertainment was awesome! If you’ve never been to Donny G’s you are missing out!!
Enjoyed our first visit. Veal parm was very good. Kids had pasta and really good meatballs. Wife had pasta that was plentiful and good. Apps (grilled octopus and Calamari) were excellent.
Loved the atmosphere and the live music. The entire staff was very friendly and the service was amazing. Lobster Mac and cheese is a favorite!.
