Dooby's has recently become my favorite neighborhood cafe. Their iced oat milk latte with lavender vanilla syrup is one of my favorite things ever. The inside is fairly well suited for remote work however, the upper dining room tends to be reserved for non-laptop diners at certain peak hours. The outside has a few picnic tables with umbrellas too. The people who work here are always friendly and quick despite there seemingly being a steady flow of customers at all times. Came here on a sleepy midweek afternoon looking for pick me up coffee and a place to do some work. Glad I stumbled in at Dooby's. Casual cafe style eatery with Asian fusion flavors and American favorites, this is a good spot to sit and do some work or catch up with friends. i've only heard raving reviews about Dooby's but i fear my experience was not up to the hype. But that doesn't mean it was bad! i got the korean cheesesteak with the kimchi potato salad, and it was a bit underwhelming. perhaps the hype got to my head or i have a lot more experience with asian cuisine to expect some mind blowing experience, but the flavors were very simple to me. the cheesesteak tasted mainly of gochujang and sugar, and i feel like extra mayo would have made it a bit better. by no means bad but perhaps do not approach this expecting to get your pants blown off. service was good though, and interior is very cute so it was overall a really pleasant experience! personally though...

Dooby's was close to our hotel so we stopped in for breakfast. It's a nice open space with a good amount of seating. I saw several people there working or studying so seems a good spot for that. You can order at the counter. The staff were all nice. We chose to share a steak, egg, and cheese sandwich. You can choose how you'd like your egg cooked so we of course opted for a nice runny egg! The sandwich was large and very tasty. I noticed they also serve ramen, buildable rice bowls, and sandwiches in addition to their breakfast options. They also had some yummy looking sweets in a case. Overall, we both liked the food and ambience here and I will return!
I walked here so not sure how parking is in the area but there's a ton of space to sit down w/ friends or study matcha latte 3/5 I got this at the 1st sweetness level (I'm told there are 3 levels available). It did taste like matcha but I think it could have been stronger. Overall not the best or worst I've had in Baltimore. matchamisu 4.5/5 This is a matcha tiramisu where the coffee that is traditionally in a tiramisu is substituted w/ matcha. It was very filled with matcha and tastes sweet. I gave it 4.5 instead of 5 because it can get to be too sweet after a few bites but I just saved it in my fridge for later. Definitely recommend this.
I had the spicy egg and cheese including the French toast. It was wonderful and there was plenty of seating, much more than expected and the service and staff are great. The food was fantastic and very fresh! I highly recommend this place for all occasions!
Always a good visit. Can get busy at general am and lunch times. The steak and egg is my fav bkfst sandwich. Coffee isn't too great but the tea options are solid. Free WiFi!
