After noticing a couple of “negative” reviews I felt I must add my own after being unable to reply to those that experienced a unsatisfactory visit.regarding the early last orders just recently unfortunately due to being short staffed (as it seems the rest of the world are also) and if we have a particularly quiet evening we will shut just one hour earlier than our regular closing time,if there’s a few peoples in and ask us to stay open later we would certainly consider staying on for you to have another drink,you would only need to ask. nothing wrong with the dooley inn, lots of parking, clean interieur, friendly host and extensive menu. on Wednesday for lunch on a hot sunny Wednesday, only opened and had a few people on a drink. host was to serve them, but could still tell us what was like not before. we decided to eat in the garden area, many tables and chairs, some under deck. we got the menus and were made available by the specials, and although the sign on the bar says to get a table, then they come to cash with their order and table number, the host said not care, they will come and get the one of us, the same for drinks. If I could give this place 5 stars, I absolutely would! We had a family gathering to celebrate a 40th birthday today, and it was perfect. We were in the new room and couldn't have asked for more. There were 15 of us, and we all ordered the brat dinner, which was fantastic—everyone finished their plates! The food was delicious, and the desserts were just as amazing, especially the chocolate orange cheesecake. The staff was incredibly helpful too. It was a perfect day, and I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly, and the place is beautifully clean and tidy. The food was delicious and clearly homemade, with generous portions. It was my first visit, and I hope to return many times. I also appreciated that they had artwork for sale to support charity, so I bought a piece I liked, and the staff kindly wrapped it up for me because of the rain.
